Philadelphia is not the same without our Bill. He is sorely missed by all who knew him and many gifts in his name have been recorded at Doctors Without Borders and the Bread and Roses Fund. Thank you all very much.

Six months later I still can't write without weeping about how much I miss him - his loving kindness and his complete trust and support. It's not much fun here without him.

If you are new to GROVE, welcome. GROVE was and is a many part project about trees; real oak trees and real paper trees. GROVE was and is a Philadelphia project created in the Wissahickon; a philly FRINGE event located at the Media Bureau in Northern Liberties, and a solo show in February at the Abington Art Center. GROVE happened where a community of people care enough to become stewards of their local park, Carpenter's Woods, where GROVE lives now in its present form of live oak trees, restoring a small patch of forest while reversing the cycle of trees to paper.

Right now we are tending five new oak trees while making plans for a fall planting that would fill the GROVE with maples and oaks. For more information: call Louise at 267-688-3694
